“Everything is handed to her on a silver platter.”
- Someone had said about me in band last year.
“I’m sick of her getting everything.”
- Someone had said today.
Happy Birthday Felicia.
A gift for you: Gossip. Drama.
Great.
A simple answer to this… I don’t get things handed to me by default.
I work hard for them.
Drama club president was a hefty role to take on this year.
I think I could have done better… but i believe i did a more than decent job.
Saturday night was the Gracie Awards Ceremony.
I am so grateful for the awards I recieved which includes Favorite Student-Directed One Act, Best Ensemble Cast, Overall Best Actress, and the Director’s Award.
I worked hard this year for those awards. And I believe that I deserved them.
Why can’t people just be happy for what they already have.
Sure, they might not have gotten what they wanted this time around.
But there are already opportunities for achievment in other places.
Take for example the Excellent rating I had gotten at District Competition and State Competition.
I wanted that Superior more than anything.
When I saw that silver button and that Excellent stamp…
I cried.
But I got over it.
I was happy for all those who had gotten superiors… Joey, Mitchell, Ryan, and all of those in Run, Freedom, Run.
And that was it.
Do you think you really deserved what you didn’t get?
Was it worth talking about to everyone?
Do you feel better now?
What did I ever do to you?
Thanks for the Birthday wishes.
